Privacy
Privacy, plainly put.
This privacy notice explains what happens to the details you share with Dreemex through dreemex.com: what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In short, we ask only for what we need to answer you, and we never pass your details to anyone else for their own use unless the law requires it. The site uses no cookies or tracking; the only thing it keeps in your browser, and only if you ask it to, is your own contact details, so you need not type them twice.
Who is responsible
Dreemex and dreemex.com are run by Biokobi international UAB, Lazdijų g. 18B, LT-46349 Kaunas, Lithuania, registered in the Register of Legal Entities of the Republic of Lithuania, company code 304285464, VAT code LT100011602119. This company is the controller of your personal data: it decides how your details are used and answers for that use.
For anything about your data, write to info@dreemex.com.
What we collect
Apart from the technical details that reach any website with each visit (see below), we collect personal data only when you send one of the two forms on the site or write to us.
Everything the forms ask for is needed to answer you, and a form cannot be sent until it is complete. Only the tick boxes are optional.
- Catalogue request: your name, company, work email address, company website and country, the catalogue you chose, the time of your request, and whether you ticked the box for news of new ranges and catalogues.
- Partner enquiry: your name, company, email address, website, country and type of business, your message, and whether you ticked the box for occasional news from Dreemex.
- Email: whatever you choose to tell us when you write to info@dreemex.com.
When you send a form
Your form goes from your browser straight to dreemex.com. A catalogue request is emailed to info@dreemex.com and added to our record of catalogue requests, kept on our web host, and we then send you the catalogue by email. A partner enquiry is emailed to info@dreemex.com. If you ticked the box for news, your name and email address are also added to our news list with our mailing service.
We make no automated decisions about you and build no profiles.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Each use has its own legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR.
- To send the catalogue you asked for, reply to your enquiry or email and follow up on your request. Basis: our legitimate interest in answering trade enquiries and getting to know possible partners (Article 6(1)(f)). If you trade in your own name, the basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep a record of catalogue requests and of the people we work with, so we know who asked for what and when. Basis: the same legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To send occasional news of new ranges and catalogues, only if you ticked the box. Basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@dreemex.com.
- To run the site, keep it secure and keep the forms free of automated spam. Like any website, the server that hosts dreemex.com receives the technical details that come with each visit, such as your IP address, the browser you use and the page requested. Our hosting provider keeps these in server logs for seven days: your IP address, the time and type of each request, the address requested, the protocol version, the server’s response and a description of your browser. Basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who sees it
Your details are seen only by the people at Dreemex who need them to answer you, and by the providers who run the site, our email and our news mailings for us. These providers act on our instructions under data processing terms and may not use your details for anything else. We share details with public authorities only where the law requires it.
Your details are kept within the European Economic Area. Our hosting provider keeps the site, its forms and our email on servers in Lithuania, and does not transfer this data outside the European Economic Area.
- Our web hosting and email provider, based in Lithuania, which runs dreemex.com and its forms, keeps our record of catalogue requests and carries the messages that reach info@dreemex.com.
- Our mailing service, which keeps our news list and sends our news, only to those who asked for it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only for as long as we need them for the purposes above.
- Catalogue requests, partner enquiries and emails: two years after our last contact with you, then deleted. If we go on to work together, the details our agreement needs are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- News: until you withdraw your consent.
- Spam protection: when you send a form, a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address, deleted within fifteen minutes; it stops the forms being flooded.
- Server logs: seven days, kept by our hosting provider.
- Details remembered in your browser: until you untick the box or clear them, as described below.
In your browser
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Everything it loads, from fonts to images, comes from dreemex.com itself, so your visit is not shared with outside services.
If you tick “Remember my details on this device” when you send a form, the site keeps your name, company, email address, website and country in your browser on that device, so your next request is quicker to fill in. Nothing is kept unless you tick the box. These details stay on your device: they reach us only if you send a form again, and other websites cannot read them. To forget them, untick the box the next time you send a form, or clear the site data for dreemex.com in your browser settings. If your browser does not allow this, the forms work just the same.
The LinkedIn links are plain links. LinkedIn learns nothing of your visit unless you click it, and the link does not tell LinkedIn which page you came from. Once you are on LinkedIn, its own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can use any of these rights, free of charge, by writing to info@dreemex.com. We reply within one month, and may first ask you to confirm who you are.
- Access: see the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Rectification: have anything wrong or incomplete corrected.
- Erasure: have your data deleted.
- Restriction: have its use paused while a question is settled.
- Objection: object at any time to any use based on our legitimate interest.
- Portability: receive the data you gave us with your consent or for a possible agreement in a common, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another organisation.
- Withdrawing consent: stop the news whenever you wish; this does not affect what was done before.
If you have a concern
You are welcome to tell us first at info@dreemex.com, and we will do our utmost to put it right.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work, or where you think the problem arose. The authority where Dreemex is established is the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).
Changes to this notice
When the way we handle your details changes, we update this page and the date below.
